Description
Taken in Yacolt, Washington, August 2026.
I’d never done much with long exposures, previously – to have them really work at all well, you need a remote trigger; without one, the act of pushing the shutter jostles the camera enough to make any photo you take come out a little smeary. Having gotten a new camera, though, I got an unexpected bonus: it has BlueTooth, and so a paired phone becomes a remote trigger.
With that discovery, a tripod, and some time, I went to find a waterfall so I could capture some of that smoothly falling water.
