Taken from the side of Mount Saint Helens, September 2021.
I have tried, and failed, to summit St. Helens twice now! This was the first attempt, a picture grabbed on a break in between chugging water and gasping for breath. I’m one of nature’s swimmers; altitude and I do not get along. But boy, it’s hard to resist getting these kinds of views.
